What Angela House Has to Offer...

Once accepted into the program, each resident will develop personal goals and individual service plans according to her needs.  Angela House offers the following services:

• On going, individual and group counseling
• Substance abuse counseling and referral services
• Parent education and anger control management
• Educational counseling, referral and tutoring services (ABE, GED, ESL)
• Employment readiness and job development services
• Family and crisis counseling
• Budgeting and on-going life skill assistance classes
• Learning constructive use of leisure
• Wellness

When appropriate, residents will be referred to agencies existing in the community to provide the services required.  To avoid duplication of services, a primary goal of the Angela House program is to develop linkages with organizations that can serve the unique and complex needs of women after incarceration.
